Tech vendor Alliants helped bring Apple's hotel key in Apple Wallet to market in 2025 and was named one of the Best Inventions of 2025 by Time magazine, which noted that the key does not require guests to download an additional app. This was followed by the 2025 Hotel Catey for Best Use of Innovative Technology awarded to The Lore Group for its implementation of the wallet-based room key technology.
