Harry Jones
Harry Jones is the Head of Marketing for QVO Hospitality, leading the marketing function for prominent North West brands including Maray, The One O'Clock Gun, and Buyers Club. His career journey is a "full circle" hospitality story, beginning as a cocktail bartender before moving into senior agency roles where he managed PR, social media and crisis communications for global giants like George at ASDA, Specsavers and Dunelm.
Returning to hospitality in 2024, Harry applies a high-impact agency mindset to his portfolio, favouring decisive action and a "seek forgiveness, not permission" approach to brand growth. He is known for his willingness to challenge the status quo, whether that means ripping up legacy tech stacks or prioritising human storytelling over automated "tech overkill." His strategy-led approach was recently highlighted by the Maray Chester launch, which saw thousands of covers booked and soft-launch reservations sell out in under two hours.
Beyond his role at QVO, Harry is a dedicated advocate for community and local commerce. He serves as a Board Trustee for Salford Pride in a marketing capacity and is the Chair of the Royal Albert Dock Commercial Tenants Association. A firm believer that technology should amplify rather than replace the human touch, Harry spends his time outside of work traveling the globe to experience the world's most unique hotels and restaurants firsthand.
