Oliver Rosevear joined Fuller’s in 2021 as Director of Sustainability, leading the company’s journey to Net Zero by 2040 and shaping its wider ESG strategy. Under his leadership, Fuller’s has cut emissions by 60%, reduced electricity and gas use by 12% and 30% respectively, and now recycles over 67% of its waste. The business has pioneered electrification in hospitality, opening its first electric pub, The Admiralty, in 2023 and its first electric hotel, The Head of the River in Oxford, in 2024. Today, 30% of Fuller’s kitchens are primarily powered by electricity.
Prior to Fuller’s, Oliver spent 11 years as Head of Environment at Costa Coffee, delivering a 38% carbon reduction, designing its BREEAM Outstanding Roastery, and creating the award-winning Zero Energy EcoPod. He also launched the UK’s first cup recycling scheme, which has recycled over 150 million coffee cups.
