Shereen Ritchie
Shereen is currently Group CEO of Kuvi Hospitality, the master franchise partner of choice for US brands seeking expansion into the UK, Europe and the GCC. The first brand she is introducing to these markets is the globally celebrated Miami taqueria, Coyo Taco. She brings over 25 years of experience across hospitality, investment and executive leadership.
As Managing Director of LEON, she led the brand through both its most successful and most demanding period. Under her stewardship, LEON was successfully sold to EG Group (Euro Garages) for £100 million during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. She subsequently became Chief Executive Officer of Buns from Home, the independent bakery brand born during the pandemic that rapidly captured both the city’s high streets and social media attention. During her tenure, the business expanded from six locations to more than 25 within 18 months.
She is also Co-Founder of Boardwalk, a highly regarded industry mentorship programme dedicated to supporting and accelerating women into board-level roles. Through Boardwalk, Shereen champions greater representation and actively invests in developing the next generation of female leaders across hospitality and beyond.
Shereen’s journey began at the age of 15 with an evening job clearing tables at TGI Fridays — an experience that ignited a lifelong passion for hospitality. Decades later, she remains as energised by the industry as she was then, grounded in the belief that great businesses are built by inspiring people, creating strong teams and delivering memorable experiences.
